Miniforests in Schools

An environmental education activity led by our team in the miniforest at CEU José Bonifácio. Beyond these activities, the community continues to use the space to reconnect with nature.

Two years after planting, the miniforest at CEU José Bonifácio is well established within the surrounding urban landscape. The growing forest contributes to increased urban resilience and improved environmental conditions.

More than three years after planting, the miniforest at CEU Paraisópolis is growing strong. The trees are developing well and contributing to urban reforestation in a dense urban area.

The miniforest of CEU Paraisópolis is growing beautifully! We had plantings here on October 2022 and October 2023, with students and school community.

In the miniforest of CEU Paraisópolis the community is already harvesting pumpkins and sweet potatos!

We started planting today with the children from CEU Paraisópolis!!!

We are preparing the areas for planting! Revolving the soil with lots of compost and other organic soil amendments so the trees can grow happy! Planting with the communities will happen soon in October! It's already starting to rain in São Paulo! Thank you for your support!

And together with the trees we usually plant seeds of cover grop plants, like beans, corn, sunflower, and others that improve soil conditions for the mini forests to grow healthier!

Planting season is coming in São Paulo! It usually starts to rain more from September on, and we are already preparing the tree saplings with the children for planting soon!!

We are getting ready for planting the mini forests in São Paulo's public schools when the rain comes in October! The students and communities are eager to restore these degraded lands!
