Beneath the evening sky of Tabora 01 Site , a quiet transformation is underway. Among millions of trees, each one plays a role in restoring ecosystems, enriching soils, and growing a sustainable future through agroforestry.

During our recent visit to our Old Korogwe riverside site, we checked on the young Markhamia lutea trees we planted, and they are growing well alongside

at the Msambiazi site along the Pangani River,
supporting the restoration and protection of this vital water source.

Over time, these trees will help stabilize the
riverbanks, improve water quality, and contribute to a healthier environment

Teamwork in action! This planting season, we came together as a team from planning in the office to planting in the field and made a bigger impact together.

Planted in 2023 at our Kerenge site, the Markhamia lutea has grown steadily, strengthening the landscape and enriching the soil.

This species helps prevent erosion, captures carbon, and supports local biodiversity.

Many people think trees are just for the environment but they are also a source of income.

Bees make their homes in trees, and in return, communities protect the trees to keep the bees safe. We educate and encourage people to care for both new and old trees, showing how protecting

This is Mlima Fundi once rich in natural vegetation, now slowly healing. Over half its forest cover was lost due to years of human activity.

We began replanting to restore what was lost. Today, the green is coming back a sign of hope and community action.

Watering seedlings is a vital step in raising strong, healthy trees. In our nurseries, we make sure plants are watered consistently usually in the morning and evening to help them grow deep roots and withstand harsh conditions.

It all begins with care at this early stage.

Where nature speaks in stillness, this peaceful landscape reminds us why we plant.

Every tree we add is a step toward preserving the beauty, balance, and life of places like this. Let’s keep nurturing the earth.
