Due to clay soil in Senguio, the trees couldn't retain enough water. The 5 support irrigations weren't enough and some died during the dry season, from January and June. 1,400 new trees are already in the land to replace them.

In Senguio, when raining season started, around 80 kg of Avena Sativa were planted to be used for cattle.

Fruit trees that were planted in 2023 in Senguio, died because of nematodes and fungus. Planting holes were cleaned and sanitized before planting new trees. We expect the new lime tress not to have the same problems because they are a different species from the previously affected
